 As they dashed off a glimmer of stripes could be seen i could  

only see horse. But then I saw it aging  i saw it i was a zebra.

 it was black and withe with a black mane stripes it was

very pretty it also had black eyes. all of the horse were galpen

in the wind at then the zebra stared to look at me and the zebra

The sun was going down very fast the only light you could see was the

Latins.The sound of waves following the boat. It stared to get dark 

 and winding. You could really only see the glowing Latins the tiny 

little grass blowing in the winding.The pink and orange was all

gone it was pich black and the Latins looked like stars.

Mercury is 48.6.million km away from Venus. Venus is  2.8million km away from the Earth. Earth is 396.1 million km away from Mars. Mars is 3.68 million km away from Jupiter. Jupiter is 390.6million away from Saturn. Saturn is 77.7 million km away from Uranus. Uranus is 1.69billion km away from Neptune.

What i did in girls self defence

Today I did girls self defence we did some kicks and punches the lady was called Anna. We had to get into pares and punch and kick some pads. We did some high kicks and some low and we did some high punches and some low punches.today I graduated from girls self defence.

 For inquiry we got to draw our own planet mine saw called icing fire. It has a big rig around. It's blue and red.There is blue and red on one side and red and blue on the other side. It has red and blue smock coming of it.

Marshmallow Earth

 Today i made the marshmallow Earth. How to make it you need a marshmallow, mini M&M , melted chocolate, skewer then get you  marshmallow and put the mini M&M in the marshmallow and put in on the skewer and put the melted chocolate on and wait for it to dry. the chocolate is is the crust the marshmallow is the mantle and the mini M&M and the chocolate in side the m&m mini saw the inner core.

Earth layers

 For inquiry we had to do a google draw of the layers in the Earth there is 4 layers we had to write facts down about the layers and put it on a blog post 

What I'M doing for inquiry

In inquiry I am learning about space. We had this piece of paper with planets on it. We had to guess the colour of the planets and then guess what order the planets are in. I got some of them wrong and some of them right. We had to pick a planet and the planet that I piked was saute because the ring would be interesting to make.

this week in maths

In problem solving me and my group had to do this problem the problem is.

 we had to fill a measuring jug with 500ML of water and pour into a plastic bag. 

 tie the bag with a rubber band. weigh the bag on the scales. How much does 500ML of water weigh in grams. 

                                                    answer 500g

The water activity we had to have 3 every time we had to get water and put a block down every time. the small cup had 3 block and the big cup had 5 blocks. The big one could hold the most cups.

Temperature we had to get ice and see how log it tot in tell the ice melted. i had to holled 

Mass in mass we had to see what things weighed. my favourite one was the electronic scale.

What we made: Me and my buddy made a v-hut.

How we made it: We used Moseley hot glue, paint and ice-block sticks. First we glued the sticks onto another material kind of like cardboard. Then once all the sticks were stuck on and it looked like a hut, we painted it brown.

What went well: I like how the v-hut came out. We also worked really well as a team.

What we would do differently for our Inquiry project: We might learn something different.

Bridle Path Walk

3. How did it feel) going up was hard but going down was easy.

1. Favorited part)going to ferry mead because I liked doing the v-hut

2. Biggest challenge)Making the v-hut because we used lots of stuff to make it.

3.I am proud of) My bridle path walk because I went up all the away and down all the away. 

4.What I learnt) that in maths that in when you do a divide number the smallest number goes first.

 

monday mashup drama 21/6/2021

In drama my group had to do a play we had pick 3 pieces of paper and we had to act those 3 pieces of paper out and make a store my pieces of paper said cat kitting food how we did the play was I was the person my friend's were the cat's I was doing the kitting and they wanted some food but there was no food so we went to the shop and that was my drama.

visit to the Museum and the art gallery and the Christchurch City Hall

Today  we went on a school trip and we went to the museum the art gallery and the Christchurch City hall. The museum and the art gallery was pretty cool but the Christchurch City Hall was the best. what we had for lunch was a croissant and some roasted corn. The art gallery was I bit bore but is was cool at the same time.  I had a buddy her name was lexie the sad thing is she has a broken arm but don't worry she was good on the trip thou. At the art gallery there was a sequin box. At the Museum there was 1 cool and unbelievable thing 1 there   the Egyptians 1 there was people that looked real.

1.girl's go first

2.At the v-hut children had to do chores for what adults but the adults helped

3. In the 1850's there was no toy for kids when i went to ferry mead i made some toy's. 

4.Immigration people had to sign a piece of paper if you we're sick 

or not if you we re 

 5. At the school in the 1850's the the teachers would be very strict if your work was untidy you wood get hit with a ruler.

6. if you got shoes in the 1850's you would have to look after your shoe because they we're handmade.

7. clothes in the 1850's we re hand made to and you had to keep them clean.

8. in packing the trunk we would have to guess if you needed on the ship or after the ship.

9. kids can seen but not herd 

 10. how candles were made in 1850 they were made with animal fat.

 It all start when i went to ferrymead. The first thing we did was get dressed the girls had to wear dress's. 

After we got dress we went to the 4 expectation. The 4 expectation we're the v-shaped hut immigration Polynesian crafts and packing the trunk. the first one i did was immigration we had to fill out they's form I had to right what my job was and I had to piece of paper out of this pot. if i could go on a ship to New Zealand and I could go to New 

Zealand                 

after that I did the v-hut at the v-hut we had to do chores the inside chores we're the.

After I did the v-hut I did pioneering crafts in pioneering crafts we did  waxing knitting and string and paper illusion and rope tying.

Next was packing the trunk a lady had to talk to us what we had to take on the ship in the 1850s. 

 

After I did all the 4 rotations I looked around ferrymead there was a lot of old places. the places i went to was the church and the jail move's in the move's there was food in there but I don't no if it was real and I went in the telephone box.

 

my favourite bit about the trip was the v hut because I liked doing the chores my favourite chore was ironing cloths because the ironing was nice and warm.

 In Monday Mashup i made peg puppet and monster. i can tell you how i made both fist the peg puppet.

So how i made it i used a peg and felt tips paper hot glow it is a yellow chick Orange beak.

And that is how i made it now the monster all you do is you get a black peace of paper a and draw the monster you like and that is it

this is my check puppet. How I made it. I used a Peg felt tips and a pencil and hot glue. the colour of the check is yello it's beak is Orange and that is how I made it.

My name is zia. i am the oldest.  i have a little sister called pippa and a brother called marley. hopefully pippa does not come outside because she is annoying and she whats to play but i don't. come here zia it's time to come inside oh no said zia not pippa ZIA! said pippa not pippa said zia.

 This is my fish. this is how i made it i used pipe cleaners and thin yellow paper and red and yellow eyes. my fish is yellow i used the green pipe cleaners for the mouth how i glued the tail and the wing i used a glue stick glue the mouth and the eyes on i used hot glue and that is how i made it the end.

Swimming in the big pool

On Friday I went in the big pool and I used a noodle in the water and I did some swimming and some playing too. The first time I went in the big pool I was very very scared. but now I am fine in the big pool.
