My time in lockdown

I made the chicken for dinner with Mum. I had to soak the chicken in egg and then put it in soft flour.

I got a puzzle from my Aunty is Australia. It was a Frozen 2 puzzle. It was 300 and it took 3 days and my mum and dad helped me.

I made some Afghan biscuits with my mum. But they didn’t work. They went all melty instead of cooking.

My dad made me a drum kit so I could practice drumming in the lock down. I play to a song called legends when I practice.

  1. Nice slide show Pippa, I like how you have included pictures of your puzzle and that you are helping out with dinner. Would you be able to take a video of you playing Legends?

  2. Kia ora Pippa, you've been really busy! I like your Frozen jig-saw. I finished a 1 000's piece jigsaw during lockdown. Then yesterday I've just finished a 1 500's piece jig-saw. I do my jig-saw at night and find it relaxing. I also made some Afghans during lockdown, did you put a walnut on top of your biscuits? Here's my link to my jig-saw http://rawhitilibraryvoice.blogspot.com/2020/04/colin-thompson.html

  3. Hi Pippa. Well done on this great blog post. I really like the drum kit Dad made you, it must be so much fun practising. Do you know I have also had the same problem as you when I made afghans, they melted all over the tray. I think I might have put in too much butter. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Hi Pippa, I love that puzzle - it is like doing mosaics for me - finding the right piece to go in the right place! That is a shame about the afghans - sounds like a nice ice-cream topping instead! Did you try making them again? I can't wait to hear you play Legends.
